3 Talking Points of French Open 2019
1. A Star is Born!
The Korean teenage sensation An Se Yeung produced a gallant display to defy all odds and win her first World tour title on her French Open debut.
At just 17 of age, she became the youngest Korean Women's Single ever to won the world tour title!
The way that she totally 'destroyed' Carolina Marin fighting spirit at the final decider games is just brilliant.
2. The Stronghold continues
The Indonesian Mixed double combo of Praveen + Melati gave their 100% effort and won 2 consecutive titles to complete their European stint! And the did it by defeating the once seems invisible World #1 pair of Zheng SiWei + Huang YaQiong of China, twice in a row in the space of 2 weeks.
3. Best comeback of the tournament
During his Semifinal match versus Victor AXELSEN, Jonatan CHRISTIE Was down from 10-19 in the deciding 3rd game, he make ZERO mistake and went all the way to nail the victory.
This is a second time in 2 weeks we have witnessed the danes (AXELSEN) allow his opponent to comeback from a big margin he lead, also happened at the semi final stage of Denmark Open last week.
